SS Rajamouli's Eega takes off

Ace director SS Rajamouli's upcoming movie Eega was launched yesterday (December 07) at Ramanaidu Studios. Dr. D Ramanaidu gave green signal to the movie by switching on the camera and VV Vinayak tapped the clap board for the first shot. Film's lead stars Sudeep, Naani and Samantha featured in the first scene, which was directed by K Raghavendra Rao.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajamouli said that it is an experimental movie, where a villain kills the hero and latter reincarnates as eega. The movie will have high end computer graphics but it is not an animation film. It is a live-action film, says director.

Sudeep is doing full-fledged role in Telugu for the first time. He said that he has seen all the movies of SS Rajamouli. The current movie is different and he has a challenging role in the film, says actor.

Venkatesh, Junior NTR, Ram Charan Teja, Ravi Teja, Guru Kiran, MM Keeravani Sunil, Ali, Venu Madhav, D Suresh Babu and others graced the occasion.

Chiru’s approval needed for Ramcharan’s Merupu

Yeah, what you read is absolutely true! If the sources are to be believed, Chiru is taking care of Ram Charan career after the failure of Orange. Ram Charan Teja’s film Merupu landed in troubles because of Merupu director Dharani. The director has reportedly quoted high budget for Merupu and Chiranjeevi is not happy with this budget.

So Chiru asked Dharani to cut down the budget of Merupu. So it seems that Chiru’s approval needed for future progress of this project. We knew from the sources that Dharani is busy in rearranging the budget.

Mahesh's dookudu

Mahesh Babu’s new upcoming film "Dookudu" shooting is presently going on in Dubai, where they will shoot few songs and a fight scene. This movie has completed its first scheduleshooting part in Turkey. The film unit will return to India for the third schedule shooting.

The film is being directed by Sreenu Vytla and Produced by Achanta Ram, Achanta Gopinath and Anil Sunkara under 14 Reels Entertainment banner. This banner earlier produced Namo Venkatesha movie with Hero Venkatesh under Sreenu Vytla direction.Music is scoring by Thaman.

The other casts include Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Shiyji Shinde, Vennela Kishore etc.
